Kinda reminds me of some old scraps at the OWH ... if you don’t think thus-and-such should be done THIS PRECISE WAY then you must hate thus-and-such.

I'm not sure if that is a reference to the public/private school debate, but given that I just said I can understand why people go the private route here, I really hope it is not.

Wolfenstein has always been cool to me. Assume it’s my non-binary thinking.

Just want the clarify, the Christian Brothers is Catholic education. Catholics are Christians, but when it comes to education in the US I think there is an important distinction. And Chistain Brothers schools are not diocesan schools. They are run by the order and tend to be quite good.
Personal experience with Benedictine education and diocesan education myself, but very mixed bag.

I find that debating YF is good practice for my real job. Seriously. Didn't you say you were pretty much done with that job?

I went to a Christian Brothers high school and it was most definitely part of the archdiocese. It was also the polar opposite of “quite good,” but that’s another story for a another day.

Diocesan schools are associate with the local diocese whereas various other Catholic schools (Jesuit, Benedictine, etc.) are associated with various Catholic orders, I think.

I am less sure than was last night at bourbon:30. As for ‘good,’ I should have been more. They often enjoy a good reputation. I’ve always heard very good things about them.
