If someone wants to scrap with YF regarding Trump or Democrats, that’s fine. YF seems to love a good fight over politics. Holding YF and others accountable? I don’t get it. Accountable to whom? Is there anyone recording the results to determine if you end up in the good place or bad place? This has been my question all along. It's not as if he gets royalties for each time he insults someone. And if he does, I want an application. |

Which is what some here still don't seem to get, as they continue to deal with him in the precisely the wrong manner. Don't argue with him, don't tell him what's wrong with him, don't try to fix him. and don't treat him like he is the character he plays. He's best just ignored. |

It's like a feud spawned a thread which defused the feud but spawned a state-of-the-board thread which turned into a feud that led to a state-of-the-board discussion.

If someone wants to scrap with YF regarding Trump or Democrats, that’s fine. YF seems to love a good fight over politics. Holding YF and others accountable? I don’t get it. Accountable to whom? He will say the dumbest crap ever, claim it's not, and then when it's refuted, he'll act like the response is totally obvious, as if he didn't make the initial post. He knows it'll fly here. Much of the time it's not really a fight about politics. It's a response to bitterness, hatred, and ignorance spewed by an uneducated clod who revels in it. I realize this is his schtick, perfected over time and fermented by the finest in Twitter sewage. But at a place without your sort of enabling, he'd be pummeled into submission. "Why aren't you stomping Private Pyle's guts out?!?!?" I'll never support a ban, but I do think the people who don't knock down this garbage have created a place where his ultrastupid statements can take root. Be proud! |

He's not the first - and won't be the last - to show up here with the express stated purpose of "Speaking truths!" based on message-board arguments from a decade ago. It's better to let him have his fun in a vacuum (he's on my ignore list again), but it's also human nature to want to argue Constantly and Repeatedly. YF is the message board equivalent of President Trump. He has no shame or integrity. He would rather break things down into chaos than have an honest discussion. He is driven by a hatred of education and people who dare to disagree with him. I will say that he is better at hiding his misogynistic tendencies than President Trump. |
