God forbid we prevent a past-her-prime, 34-year-old athlete for getting to that fourth Olympics. Didn't the Olympics used to be something you aspired to from the ages of 18-22 (or 16-22 for gymnasts), either succeeded or failed, and then put it aside and went on with your real life? Crossing sports is fraught but we’ve been hearing the opposite about Diana Taurasi for the last 2 weeks |
