Dismissing an argument as so much whataboutism when the topic at hand has to do with some variation of "UNPRECEDENTED!" isn't such a strong play.

I’ll be curious to see if any other outlet can confirm this. I’m having a hard time believing something like this is only coming out now, and the article is thinly sourced. Is it going to be like McClatchy’s report that Mueller’s team has evidence that Michael Cohen did travel to Prague, as described in the “dossier”, which no one else has reported? This is a fairly robust denial. Do you find it more robust or equally robust as when Wikileaks said they had never been in contact with Roger Stone right up until the moment when messages got leaked proving that was a lie? FWIW, I don’t believe Paul Manafort is sly enough to evade every camera or spy connected to the home office that he could visit Assange undetected but I sure as hell wouldn’t for a second put any faith in Wikileaks denials. |

She's very good at getting legislation through and all the practical stuff about politics. (Not that anything is getting through in the next two years, of course.) The Young Turks want to expand Obamacare but don't realize there would be no Obamacare without Pelosi.

Look, Trump knows a lot of people. He's met and worked with many lawyers. And I'm sure a lot of them were named Michael. And Cohen isn't really that strange of a last name. This is a simple case of mistaken identity. The Michael Cohen that just pleaded guilty to lying Congress is just some wacko lib trying to torpedo Trump.
I bet Donald has never even met him. And if he had, he would have never worked with him. And if he had, he wouldn't have told him any sensitive information. And if he had, it was probably a gambit to figure out the guy's true loyalty.
And it worked. See? Trump is playing chess. We are all playing Connect Four with only red game pieces.

Given the robust surveillance state in Britain and Assange's role on the intel stage, I'd be amazed if MI-5 does not have cameras on all the doors to that embassy. |
