Texas requires front and back plates. Racist assholes have to resort to bumper or window stickers. I did a double-take at the Kroger a few years ago when I saw one of those "sovereign nations" license tags. I mean ... what's the point? |

Rahm Emmanual, among other prominent aides, has fallen victim to this. Granted, we don't usually see the First Lady's office put out a statement like this. That's unusual. |

That's part of what I was asking Don. I didn't figure it was a state issued plate, but wanted to be sure. Some states to have them? That's kind of crazy, but I think groups can petition to have a plate made, right? I know "Right to Life" plates have been controversial. |

Why do people post fucking bullshit from the goddamn Daily Wire? God forbid she has enough money to pay first and last month's rent and the security deposit. Yeah, a real 1 percenter there. She's still living in New York. In no way would it be wise for a person to take on two leases because they have $15,000 in the bank. Jesus Fucking Christ what a dumb story. |

I don't disagree, but... she tried to make this into a, "this is what's wrong with America," thing. I don't believe you should have to be rich to serve, but that it's expensive to rent an apartment in Washington D.C. is not a sign of a problem in America. A lot of Congressmen sleep in their offices -- they're only there Tuesday-Thursday nights typically. If that's not an option for, and I understand why it might not be, she could look to get a "crash pad" type arrangement with other members. Lot's of Senators do this, teaming up with others to get a place near Capitol Hill. Plus, I'm almost certain that her apartment in Parkchester, which her family has had since before she moved to Westchester as a two-year-old, is rent controlled, so she's likely paying peanuts for it. And, if she was really hurting for money, she could have pulled a few bartending shifts in the months after her primary victory. She hasn't had to campaign since, what, July? No one said she couldn't work between then and now. |
