I vaguely recall this story an for some reason, I recall that the immunity grant logically indicated the opposite of what you are still arguing it did. I'm trying, and failing, to understand how a grand of immunity would indicate the absence of a crime.

I think it was because they were granted immunity and Comey still didn't find that she committed a crime. They could sing like canaries with impunity, and it didn't end up making a differences, which is a mark in favor of Hillary.

Unlike the supposed evidence that Trump colluded with Russia to steal an election, the evidence of Clinton's crimes are public. And, let's be clear about a couple of other things: James Clapper is guilty of the crime that Michael Cohen pled guilty to. Tony Podesta is guilty of the same FARA crimes that Flynn pled to. Manafort had been investigated previously, and the decision was made to not prosecute. The FBI agents who interviewed Flynn didn't think he had lied -- and they had tapes of his conversations with the Russian Ambassador. Carter Paige hasn't been charged with anything. This whole investigation has been political, since it was launched, based on paid for political opposition research. The FBI interviewed Flynn, in connection with a potential Logan Act violation (LOL), because of an illegal leak to the David Ignatius of the Washigton Post -- a leak that has not been investigated or prosecuted.

Yeah, so anyway, you asked a question and I answered it.

Of course it was! No one would be that persistent about flipping the bird.

Pulling an NC here, as this represents my view of political discourse today: I was convinced this was the case because the guys were either deaf or actors. No one would do that without shouting as well.

I got a VM from Commerce Dept telling me that I had not sent in my 2018 Business Census. Lady had a foreign accent that I could barely understand. You can't make this stuff up.

How deep does the Fox and Friends bench go? Is it really possible to staff the entire government solely with Fox News contributors?

It's amazing Trump's businesses were run so poorly, considering the deep pool of people he could choose from: People who are willing to endlessly debase themselves and endlessly flatter him at the same time.

In a gaggle, on the way to Marine One, Trump confirmed his nominations for AG and UN Ambassador.
No word on John Kelly, and now we have conflicting reporting:
The guy is eventually going to leave. He's already served a tenure that is about average for those who have held the job, but a lot of the reporting really seems irresponsible.
How many times now have we heard that his departure was imminent?
And, so, he takes a Friday off, or doesn't travel with the President, and we get more reports that he's leaving. Looks like reporters speculating, and hoping to be right, so they can claim a scoop.
