The media cannot be honest on this issue. The Dodgers have had Pride Night for years. It’s not about mainstream LGBT marketing, that Bud Light and Target have engaged in for years. It’s the specifics of the marketing. What exactly were the target specifics? Did they also have an out of context quote about something else? |

I think it’s hilarious when our Targets and such put up big Pacers or Colts displays here. I’m perpetually fascinated when a store like that has local high school sports gear. That happens all the time. But the Colts and Pacers are not “local” here. |

The Wegmans here always has a giant display of Bills gear. Buffalo is 500 miles away. Isn't it a Buffalo company? I don't get to Wegman's much, but that jumped out at me as well. dirtybird, I always love the idea that people are buying a MIDLOTHIAN shirt at our local Kroger. I cannot imagine the target audience beyond "Spilled a huge coffee on my shirt while grocery shopping." Somebody must be buying them, though! |

Misinformation and conservatives seizing!
That’s one heck of a double whammy.
At issue was misinformation spread about “tuck friendly” swimsuits that allow trans women who have not had gender-affirming operations to conceal male genitals. Some social media accounts falsely claimed the swimsuits were being sold in children’s sizes.
Conservatives also seized on Target’s partnership with Abprallen, which they claimed features Satanist designs. Target sells an Abprallen sweatshirt with a snake that says: "Cure transphobia, not trans people."

USA Today must have missed this part of the story.
'Target is full of [redacted] cowards who turned their back on the LGBT community and decided to cater to homophobic right wing, redneck, bigots, who protested and vandalized their store,' the email to Cleveland 19 read. 'We won't stand idly by as the far right continues to hunt us down.
'We are sending you a message, we placed a bomb in the following Targets,' the email continued. 'We will continue to bomb your Targets until you stop cowering and bring back your LBGT merchandise.
'We will not be erased, we won't go quietly.'
Cleveland 19 reported the threatening email to all local police forces and the FBI.
