I am sure that a fantasy movie with talking scarecrows, anthropomorphic tin men and flying monkeys will be much more enjoyable if it reflects the world. Everyone in Hollywood is a fucking idiot.

I have a hard time believing that the market is demanding any kind or Wizard of the Oz remake, but what do I know. Just seems that adding sexuality to it is unnecessary, but again, maybe I’m wrong. Just because it has gay people in it doesn’t mean it’s going to be sexualized. If characters have their sexuality revealed, which was previously not necessary for the story, then they are turning then into sexual beings, by definition. |

This is great news. Hopefully the LGBTQIA2S+ community can enjoy this new version of the Wizard of Oz as much as the rest of us have enjoyed the classic version. The modern American’s burning desire to be offended is something to behold. |
