I must be tired. Woke up at 5:40 which threw me off schedule. Thought about sleeping for 2 more hours but dragged myself out of bed to go to the high school track. Thought I'd walk 3 miles then go to the gym. Only walked 1.5 miles. Now I'm in the car at the gym waiting for it to open and unsure of what kind of workout I'll do between 7 and 8:30. I really don't like lifting but will probably do some. The rest of the time will be cardio.
This is the song I woke up thinking about.

Honestly, Xan, some light lifting might be good to sort of re-calibrate your metabolism. Switching up your workouts from time to time forces your body to adapt. You don't have to go heavy. Also, the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn at rest.

These are all things I'm aware of. I always switch workouts when I'm at the point of being burned out on any particular facet.
I did a small amount of lifting, nothing to be proud of but whatever.
Did 15 minutes on the elliptical beforehand and then walked a mile-plus on the treadmill after so the total mileage today is like 4. LOL.

Used to do the stair master twice a week about 25 years ago. Probably haven’t used it more than 10 times since. I do need to find a new cardio workout at the gym.
