Seeking dirt on the Bidens, men who at present hold no office and have no influence on the direction of the country, was in the country’s best interest and not Trump’s? Knowing that we're dealing with a country that isn't corrupt is important. And, that Biden was out of office doesn't make his possible corruption any less relevant. Base on your theory, it would have been criminal to ask Ukraine for dirt on Manafort in 2016, which did happen. So, let me know where you want to set the standard, and we can apply it equally. |

Trump, sees every interaction as transactional. He's not giving up anything for fuckin' nothing. He's actually been pretty clear about that, publicly. Whether it's foreign aid, or access to American markets, he wants something in return. And, as long as you're asking for something in the nation's interests, and not your own interests, that's totally cool. I don't know enough about the law -- and there's apparently some question about whether you can put a value on opposition research -- but, I have no doubt that Trump felt like getting to the bottom of Crowdstrike, Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election, and whether Joe Biden's son got a sweetheart deal, in order to curry favor with his father, was in the nation's interest. LOL. God bless his soul, the dear man was only concerned about our best interests, not a thought was given to himself. The YF spin machine truly is something to behold. |

They were stored in a place normally used to store information with national security implications, and there were none here (except for, you know, the ones created by the President leveraging his office for political gain).
