The Times, like @double Down, doesn’t want to give Cernovich, the guy who filed the lawsuit, which others joined, any credit?
Why avoid mentioning him?
Last week, amid urging by The Herald, The New York Times and other publications, a federal appeals court in New York ordered up to 2,000 pages of judicial documents about the case to be unsealed.

I didn't say don't give him any credit; I said there is no scenario where he was going to report on any connection that led back to Trump, no matter what the lawsuit said. He didn't do the hardest part of the actual reporting, but the Times should certainly mention him as having filed the actual lawsuit for sure.

It can’t be an oversight. They certainly know who filed the suit. It had to be a conscious decision. And, I don’t know how he would avoid a Trump connection, if there was one. I also don’t think he’s as predictable as you do. He’s an odd duck, much more interested in his own fame than in helping Trump.

I do find it odd that no one is criticizing Ward, especially as she tries to paint herself as some kind of hero, who tried her best, but was shut down. Why do you spare her any criticism? Was there nothing she she could do, except push the knowledge that a serial predator was on the lose to the deep recesses of her brain for 16 years. I don’t know why she sat on it, or even if she did. I do know there’s a whole national movement you may have heard of that centers around a huge societal issue regarding people — like Graydon Carter, for instance — being dismissive of any and all sex-assault accusers.

Are we unable to multi-task?
Carter: Bad Acosta: Bad Ward: ________
Now, fill in the blank.

A few things: — I don’t know what Ward’s draft looked like when it was filed. — I don’t know if she ever met the standard needed for publication. Especially of something like this. — I don’t know if Epstein pressured VF to spike it. He has certainly been rumored to have done that in the past. — I don’t know if Ward shopped it around to other pubs, if they also passed on it, and/or why.

Is there some room for... Dershowitz: Bad. Vigorously defending your client, and getting him the best deal possible, is the lawyer’s job, just as it was in the O.J. trial. Now, obviously, if he was a participant, everything changes. I don’t expect that to be true.

So the massages he got from "an old old Russian," at Epstien's house, was totally above board and innocent? Poor Alan, a bad back and no where else to go for a therapeutic massage but his billionaire client's house — where he just happened to pick out someone who looked like Martha Karolyi. Oh and I'm sure the letter to the Pulitzer Board trying to shit on the Miami Herald's reporting was very much a part of his billing hours.

From a logistical standpoint where were all these girls parents when this was going on? Were all the girls in foster homes or street kids?
Obviously don’t run in those social circles but is it normal to let your teenage daughter go away unescorted like that?

Seems like they could have found some Bulgarian girls to do and then dispose of.

Let’s just say “parents” likely never even enter the equation.
