One amusing thing that crossed my radar of late was an assertion made elsewhere that since well before Reagan's day the U.S. body politic has been lurching in a "reactionary" direction. This was said in insinuating that we should seriously consider such "fresh" ideas as have been trotted out by AOC et al. Indeed ... what "New Deal" sequel will be AOC's "Green" one?
