I have never heard or seen anyone besides you talk about Linda Sarsour. How do you feel about an incoming member of Congress supporting the BDS movement? The same media that proclaims to be aghast at anti-Semitism -- and let's be clear, the BDS movement is anti-Semitic -- celebrated this woman's election. And, Linda drops this little nugget, which was a favorite of the Nazi's and we're just going to pretend that she's a nobody, so it doesn't matter. This is not only coming from the right-wing but some folks who masquerade as progressives but always choose their allegiance to Israel over their commitment to democracy and free speech. It’s a political movement. There are legitimate criticisms of Israel, and there is clear anti-Semitism. BDS includes some of each. I know you’re all into anti-Semitism gotchas here these days. I don’t care about anything Linda Sarsour says. Nobody does. Except you.

Right, so what should your boy do? You tell me. I'm not trying to be a dick. I think we can all agree that ordering his killing was barbaric, and the carrying out of it was even worse. But, what should we do about it? We've long turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia's human rights violations. We just never had to deal with such a specific and stark example of them. Pushing for "regime change" would likely we unsuccessful, and freezing them out might also be counterproductive.

No, you tell US. Trump is financially tied to them.
What should he do knowing the crown prince ordered the murder of an American journalist, er, citizen?

You’re entitled to that opinion.
We really aren’t talking politics if we’re talking about Linda Sarsour, though.

To borrow a despised term from today’s discourse, she’s definitely problematic...

No, you tell US. Trump is financially tied to them. Link? What should he do knowing the crown prince ordered the murder of an American journalist, er, citizen? I truly have no idea. There's no easy answer. At a campaign rally in 2015, Trump articulated the specific conflict that he denied on Tuesday morning. "Saudi Arabia, I get along with all of them,” he said. “They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.” In the 1990s, as Trump’s business empire was stumbling, he secured cash infusions from deals with Saudi officials. He sold a yacht (coincidentally once owned by a cousin of Khashoggi’s) for $20 million to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Trump sold a stake in the Plaza Hotel to the prince a few years later. In 2001, he sold a floor of Trump World Tower, near the United Nations in New York, to the Saudi government for $4.5 million. More recently, the Saudi government spent $270,000 at Trump’s D.C. hotel. "The rooms,” The Post’s David Fahrenthold and Jonathan O’Connell reported, “were used to house people visiting Washington to lobby against a law that the Saudi government opposed — a law that allows victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to sue the Saudi government.” www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/10/16/whether-trump-has-financial-interests-saudi-arabia-he-has-plenty-with-country/?utm_term=.703e7f1d61e5I don't think I need to provide any more links.

You’re entitled to that opinion. We really aren’t talking politics if we’re talking about Linda Sarsour, though. So, let's talk about the incoming congresswoman, who supports the BDS movement, after saying she did not during the campaign. Democrats should through her out of the party, and it should be demanded of them. But, it won't be, because the left doesn't really care about anti-Semitism. Her positions are as disgusting as any alt-right, Nazi wannabe, but she's going to be a member of the Democrat House Caucus.

Supporting Palestine is not equivalent to being anti-Semitic, as badly as you want to believe it is. Her language was wishy-washy during the campaign for sure. You love that, though, because winning and getting elected is the only thing that matters. You should be a big fan! I don't know how it's going to develop. Will be happy to talk about Ilhan Omar. Could not care less about Linda Sarsour.

Sarsour has 100,000 more Twitter followers than Jacob Wohl, so she is pretty damn relevant!
