The less fortunate certainly never vote. Are you blaming them for their plight? LOL. The two liberal-hellhole cities I’m most familiar with each have an eligible-voter population that’s less than half white, period, and an even smaller percentage are prosperous white liberals.

The Eddie Haskell routine by those defending this stunt is hilarious. Political stunts, like authoritarianism, are only good when your team does them. I only have one team, and it's the defending national champs. The day your opposing team traffics impoverished people to score political LOLs, I'll be happy to call it out.

You’re going to force them to vote for Marjorie Taylor Greene if you don’t stop being so mean to DeSantis.

It doesn’t matter that community housed them and fed them immediately. The neener-neener still works.

Political stunts!! Oh my gosh. We've never seen that before. So, tell me, are there times when stunts are useful, because they bring attention -- media, public, and political -- to a problem, that might lead to solutions, or at least policy changes that reduce the problem? Because I see this as a problem that has long been ignored. While it does bring attention to the issue of Florida's governor being an attention whore, it likely won't lead to a solution. (It's also gonna do shit all to change illegal immigration, neither lead to solutions nor policy changes)

The thirst to explain "No, no, no the narcissistic stunt is actually good," is quite something.

It doesn’t matter that community housed them and fed them immediately. The neener-neener still works. I happen to think it matters a great deal, and it's to that community's credit that it did so. That said, any number of other communities, with years of doing so on their resume, are given the "YOU RACISTS!!!!!" treatment when they dare suggest that enough's enough and that some other communities might step in.

The governor of Florida‘s insertion of himself into the whole thing to chase clout. I’m interested but he couldn’t find any illegals in his own state to send. I’m told they’re a real problem there.

These are mostly Central and South Americans, right?
Almost none will be eligible for asylum in America, as you are supposed to make your asylum claim in the first (safe) country that you reach (and Mexico counts in this case).
And, that's only one reason why they are unlikely to be eligible for asylum.
They're also supposed to enter at a legitimate port of entry, which does not include through the Rio Grande.
They are almost all fleeing for economic reasons. And, I don't blame them one fucking bit. But, that's not grounds for asylum.

The two liberal-hellhole cities I’m most familiar with each have an eligible-voter population that’s less than half white, period, and an even smaller percentage are prosperous white liberals. And, they're all segregated as all fuck. Unless you're Vernon Jordan, or Barack Obama, none of the rich, white liberals want Black/Brown people living near them, want their kids going to school with Black/Brown people, or want see homeless people in their neighborhoods. And, they manipulate the political and education systems to ensure this. John Edwards used to talk about America being two countries. Every liberal city is a tale of two cities.

Who's canonizing? Xena's male counterpart said, "How dare the people in Martha’s Vineyard that scream for tolerance and acceptance not welcome the immigrants with open doors," when they literally opened their doors, immediately.
