Season started last night. Jokic hung a 29-13-11 on the Lakers, and KD and the Suns beat Golden State without Bradley Beal.
Full slate tonight. Wemby’s debut against Dallas should be pretty good.
For most of my life, I’d have given my left arm to have the Sixers be one of the top 3 teams in the East and have the reigning MVP.
But gearing up to watch them get smoked by the Bucks tomorrow, I haven’t been this unexcited for this team since the Process days.

I had the first pick in my fantasy league and took Jokic. I am enjoying this rare day sitting atop the standings.

Every time I watch Jokic play, all I can think is what a sham it was that Embiid won the MVP over him.

Not a bad debut for Wemby, except for the foul trouble.
Luka is a monster, though.

Embiid is showing lots of flashes of dumbassery tonight, and at the worst possible times.

What happened to Deandre Ayton? I know he’s only been in Portland for three games, but he looks completely lost.
On the bright side, Joel Embiid has had two strong games since that debacle in Milwaukee.

Thank effing God:
That’s way more than I expected they’d get. Nothing like a renewed commitment to defense!

I'll say this for Harden's annual temper tantrums: they're effective. He always gets what he wants, traded to the team of his choice, only to discover that he's still unhappy.
Being teamed up with superstars wasn't enough to please him at his prior four stops, so I doubt LA will go much better. Kawhi, George and Harden is an unbelievable trio ..if this was 2019 ...but not so much in 2024.

The Sixers are putting a lot of faith in Maxey to carry that offensive load.
So far, he looks up to the challenge.

Wemby dropped 38 on the Suns last night.
I’m amazed watching him run the floor.

Sixers since the Harden trade: 6-0.
Clippers since the Harden trade: 0-4.

Kawhi Leonard had never lost six games in a row in his entire basketball life, dating to high school and before, until his team traded for James Harden at the beginning of November.
