If Trump runs, I suspect DeSantis won't. That would be awful, but I don’t believe it’s true. It can’t be Trump. He’s likely the only Republican who could lose, especially if Biden is the opponent. He’d also be terrible if he won. No one credible would work for him. The problem is that he doesn't believe any of this, and neither do the overwhelming plurality of Republican voters who would vote for him in a primary field. He's not stepping aside for the good of the party, that's for sure.

Problem is sleepy Joe IS senile and unlike 2020 the public has seen his senility for four years and they’re not going to be able to hide him in the basement again. The I’s that broke for him probably thought something like “Trump’s exagerating again, how bad could Biden faculties really be?” Four years later they know how bad he is so that doesnt mitigate anymore I just have to agree to disagree. He's nowhere close to "senile." He's always been a bit of a bumbler. He may not be senile but would you agree that his gaffes and bumbles seem worse than they did when he was VP? And the actually having to campaign and do a conventon in ‘24 rather than the virtual thing he was afforded in ‘20 will bring the gaffes that much more to the forefront? The “he’s an ancient bumbling moron” strategy could work but for the fact that most I’s looked at Trump and said “yeah but hes a bigger moron.”

It’s increasingly Democrats who are voicing these concerns about Biden.
Not sure why we would dismiss them.

It’s increasingly Democrats who are voicing these concerns about Biden. Not sure why we would dismiss them. The Atlantic piece you posted does not voice "these concerns," at least not the "concerns" that you've expressed. It goes out of its way to say that he's perfectly with-it - for now.

So now we SHOULD listen to Democrats?
You flip-flopping sonofabitch.

This is very sad, if true.
Neither of these people has a constituency, and neither won votes in the primary.
Trump might be the only Republican a ticket featuring these two could beat.

Any republican, except for Trump, will beat Biden if the Dems renominate him. And even Trump might beat him.

Yeah that's not what Colbert said or asked her. And there were laughs in that 1:30 segment he showed.
She does look great.

That “Tom Elliott” person might be the most full-of-shit person I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot.
I can’t think of a single “tweet” of his that isn’t wildly misleading or flat-out false.

Yeah that's not what Colbert said or asked her. But it's something he might have!

To be fair, laughs are hard to come by on Colbert's show no matter the guest.
