I'm glad that the pride event attendees respected decorum and showed plenty of dignity while visiting the White House. I mean, it's not like they took their pants off. A bit NSFW, if you couldn't tell from the words.
Rose Montoya, who uses she/her/they/them pronouns, according to her social media, was an invited guest at a Pride Month event hosted by President Joe Biden.

Later in the video, Montoya can be seen with her dress down and her hands covering her breasts.
“This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House,” a White House spokesperson told The Messenger via email.
“It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance," the statement continues. "Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”
Following some right-leaning TV and online criticism, Montoya posted a video late Monday addressing her actions.
“I had zero intention of being vulgar,” she said. |

Of course it's not. But it's no excuse for trashy behavior, either. This group over here shouldn't be excused for being disrespectful assholes, just because that group over there was even bigger assholes.
Plus, I mean seriously, what the fuck? What wires have to be crossed in your brain to think, "Wow, I've been invited to the White House. I just shook hands with the President. Now I think I'll celebrate this momentous, once in a lifetime moment by flashing my tits and posting it on TikTok! I'm awesome!" Trans, gay, straight, two-spirit ... Who does that? More than being inappropriate for a supposedly family friendly event, do they realize how it reflects on them as a person? It's the worst kind of trailer trash, no home training bullshit.
Same goes for the two dipshits with her, too. You're a guest at the White House, not playing cornhole at a backyard barbecue. Leave the overalls and gym shorts at home and put on some goddamn pants and a collared shirt. Show some class.

I didn't say it was an excuse. I thought I made that clear. She was wrong. There is no doubt about it. The White House condemned her actions, too. My point was that I found the pearl clutching from conservatives to be comical given the events of Jan. 6. |
