I dont think so, its certainly not prelevant like in the NFL. Well, and it turned out that military was mostly paying for those days as a part of a silent sponsorship. I’d be surprised to know, after there was a lot of criticism about the jingoistic nature of those appeals, that the NHL was currently holding such promotions. And so, if they are not, then what are we to think about this “whataboutism” that isn’t even based in fact?

What do our Chicago natives make of this guy’s “gotcha”?
Personally, since I could give a shit if anybody wears a warmup jersey or not, I say a game jersey is different bc of the rules. If owners were serious about the Pride thing, they’d wear em in a game. If they did, I’d say the Stalls or anybody else has to wear it. By making it a warmup the owners are the ones introducing wiggle room for half measures

I’m all for inclusion and treating everyone with respect.
We teach our daughter these values.
But this is silly. 5th graders don’t follow legislation.
And, the whole thing reminds me of how religion is treated in politics.
When Nancy Pelosi quotes scripture, the media swoons, and religion is good.
But conservatives expressing religious values are basically the Taliban, and want to take your rights away.
Here, no one actually gives a shit what 5th graders think about politics. But, because this protest fit the media narrative, the Star assigned a reporter and photographer to cover an hour long walkout by 100 or so students.
A pro-life rally, featuring children, would not only not draw positive media coverage, but if it received anything, it would be negative, and revolve around indoctrination.

Here, no one actually gives a shit what 5th graders think about politics. My wife was really happy about this story and brought it up to me this weekend. (First I'd heard of it.) So I guess that defeats your theory!

I think this protest is just as dumb as the one “organized” by the 5th graders in Indianapolis.
But I do think it illustrates the difference in how student protests are treated.
The one in Indianapolis was a “good” one. No one was disciplined for participating, and in fact school staff supervised the protest.
The local paper, aware of it ahead of time, assigned a reporter and photographer, and gave the protest positive coverage.
This dumb thing in Illinois — use a stall if you are uncomfortable, as a simple bathroom is a very different situation than a locker room, and the trans student involved is a trans male, so I don’t see any safety issues, like we saw in Virginia — was the direct result of the administration’s policy.
Students will be disciplined, and certainly no MSM outlet is going to give this positive coverage and suggest that we should follow these kids.

This is Black Face on steroids.
This person mocks womanhood daily, and instead of getting criticized, they get brand deals, get Hollywood stars literally kneeling before them, and get congratulated for their womanhood by our VP.

This is the woman that made Kid Rock so mad that he shot up beer cans, no?

Sounds legit, but cannot confirm.
But, she’s basically the new, trans, It Girl.
Her 365 days of womanhood routine sucked up all the air. She’s now the poster child for women.
It’s bizarre.
It’s like if we turned Rachel Dolezal into the ideal version of an African-American, and rewarded her with marketing deals.
