Look at this guy’s banner photo on Twitter for your answer as to why he voted no.

Probably won’t get very far. ”As stupid as they appear, they’re actually very good at paperwork.”

How do you feel about Muslims? I think there is a message board that shows how you feel about them. You support Trump and helped make him happen. This is on you and people like you. The vast majority of Muslims are great people. Maybe better than the average. But, the Koran, and Islam, are problematic. That Islam is more than a religion, and is also a political system is problematic. That the Koran is thought to be the literal word of God, and not open to interpretation, or moderation is a concern, makes it difficult to institute reform, and means that it remains a vehicle to recruit radicals, who would resort to violence in the name of religion. Would be more than willing to continue this discussion if you have disagreements. Probably better for it to have a separate thread, but I'm open to whatever you'd like. You do realize there are Christians who treat the Bible as the literal word of G-d, not open to interpretation, right? You do realize some of that is problematic as well, right? You can pick and choose things in both texts that are "problematic." Ephesians 6:5-8 Paul states, “Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ” which is Paul instructing slaves to obey their master.
Is The Bible More Violent Than The Quran?

Is The Bible More Violent Than The Quran? I think it’s hard to argue that something Paul said is the literal word of God, but if that’s your argument, I’ll acknowledge it. And, if you think the Christian religion, and then Bible, is as problematic as Islam and the Koran, that’s ok with me too. It’s wrong, but it’s a take. Doesn’t seem like much of a defense of Islam, but I guess whataboutism is back in fashion.

That was just one of many examples of the Bible condoning slavery, the first one I found. I also offered up another link, which you didn't bother to look at before responding to the post. That was a separate piece of the argument, but expecting you to read was my mistake. You do realize that the Bible does condone slavery, right? There are problems with extremists in Christianity, Islam, and just about any religion. You presented an argument about Islam that ignores that fact. It is an argument commonly used as a cover for bigotry against Muslims.

Muhammad believed he was somewhat of an extension of Jesus. Muhammad even banned violence against enemies unless you were attacked first. Many modern Muslim regimes have mostly distorted these aspects.

Is this where the term “veiled threat” originated?
