Why do we even care who the "whistleblower" is? It's the facts of what was whistleblown that matter. Seems pretty important to me to know who is one of the central figures in the attempt to impeach the president. Is it someone with a legitimate claim or some jamoke who worked in an office and overheard a second hand conversation? Is it someone with a grudge inflating their claims? It's an effort to turn the entire country upside down and remove a sitting president. Some due diligence is warranted. |

We all know the media would be tripping over themselves to name the whistleblower if it was John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, or Gina Haspel. There are good arguments for why that information would advance the story. What I don't understand is why those same arguments to apply to the actual whistleblower. |
