Haggle the subpoenas in front of some judges and let’s get to it. Let’s find out what happened. If I remember correctly, the Democrats overseeing the impeachment inquiry into Nixon had resolved privately to NEVER go to court for help in enforcing a subpoena. To do so would be, in their thinking, an admission that the House's "sole power to impeach" was conditional on the cooperation of the other branches. I don't recall whether the Republicans during Monica-gate stuck with that line of thinking or not.

It might not seem a huge deal, but awarding the G7 summit to his own resort is just such blatant unapologetic corruption. The sort of thing my naive younger self once thought only third world dictators could get away with.

He's doing it to stoke #fakeoutrage and will change venues in a few days. It's all a game of manipulation.

“Son of a bitch, he got fired.” Quid pro quo, or not? LOL I take this as an admission that you've moved off the "no quid pro quo" stance. That's as much as we'll ever get out of you, so it's a W. Your "quid pro quo" narrative sure took a hit -- again -- when Mulvaney backtracked. Funny how that just keeps happening and happening and happening and happening and happening.

Totally. Because they pushed him back out in front of a microphone to appease others in the administration, we’ve all completely forgotten what he said earlier in the day. It was so easy to “get over it”!

It’s interesting that Tony believes Brendan Dassey’s first admission even though he walked it back after, but he’s not as much of a stickler for Mulvaney.
I wonder if he never ends up watching Mulvaney’s press conference.

When you can explain to me what "Son of a bitch, he got fired" means, I'll worry.

When you can explain to me what "Son of a bitch, he got fired" means, I'll worry. It means you’re gullible.

I wonder if there is really anything that would be too much for Tony, other than becoming a Democrat.

Having any sort of political discussion with Tony or YF is absolutely pointless. Both are incapable of admitting the truth when it comes to their team.

Say the boys who think "Son of a bitch, he got fired" means Joe and Barack are squeaky clean.

Say the boys who think "Son of a bitch, he got fired" means Joe and Barack are squeaky clean. No one said that, genius. It just has fuck all to do with the topic of this thread. We can't impeach Biden three years after he left office. Take it to YF's Biden thread.
