Actor Hospitalized After Racist, Homophobic Attack

I mean, when you say this, you just invite rumors and speculation.

It is odd that he didn’t have his detail drive him home, especially if he’d had a drink or two, and/or was on new medication.

I wonder how common that was.

I have questions. 

TMZ has the initial story. 

We’re later told the attackers were wearing ski masks and MAGA hats. That doesn’t even sound logistically practical. 

And, in this hate crime of opportunity, in the freezing cold, in Chicago, of all places, the attackers had a noose and bleach at the ready?

Mainstream reporters are already sharing the story, and using it to criticize America, though the details are unconfirmed. 

Sources directly connected to Jussie tell TMZ, the actor arrived in Chicago from New York late Monday, and at around 2 AM he was hungry and went to a Subway. We're told when he walked out, someone yelled, "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?"
The 2 men -- both white and wearing ski masks -- viciously attacked Jussie as he fought back, but they beat him badly and fractured a rib. They put a rope around his neck, poured bleach on him and as they left they yelled, "This is MAGA country."
