I know you are asking for a different reason, but I will point out that neither of those posts said or even implied he did. I know. Should be easy to answer, though. Yeah. He should be able to answer it better than Hillary answered the question if she believed he was Muslim.

This is not true, which you’d realize if you spent five seconds Googling before repeating it for the 10th time. The book jacket? It is true. Nope—not on his book jacket—it was in a promotional kit for his literary agency, which is promoting them not the book. www.snopes.com/fact-check/promotional-booklet/

Anne Applebaum is not the president. His point is that it's poor form to argue against the President's racism with xenophobia/nationalism of their own and, of course, that's correct but also largely irrelevant. No, he asked how many would it take for it to become relevant. The answer is when one of them becomes president.

Anne Applebaum is not the president. Are you saying anyone’s behavior can be justified as long as they are not the president? Maybe ignoring obvious awful behavior until someone is the leader of the free world is why we can’t find a decent presidential candidate anymore. Find where I said it is justified. I'm saying it isn't relevant. This is not the Anne Applebaum said something awful, too thread. (In fairness, Trump's tweet probably deserved its own thread but I see why it is discussed here.)

Sorry. I edited my post. I’m sure oldtony knows the difference. 🙄 Think he’s still working on figuring out how the Bill of Rights works.

It seems like you're drunk. Go home and sleep it off. Not till you address your racist comment. Please explain what you are suggesting about
African Americans.
You're going to need to be more specific: What did I say that was racist?

Your opinions on this are irrelevant. You are not president. You are saying there isn’t a difference between what the President says and what some of journalist wrote as criticism of what the President says? Yeah, I totally think your call Perot’s obit should be A1 was a good one. Of course there’s a difference. I’m not among the posters waging a war on context. The president should be above acting like a member of the media is a legitimate argument. I don’t care what anyone says/does if they are not the president is not.

Remember, it’s all just something to point to so they can go back to not caring. The President was bad? Here are some other people who are bad. There, now we can go back to not caring, because if you care about any of it, you are the real loser.

Asked and answered. He had it in his book jacket when selling books was the priority. I believe he's a liar. So does the Washington Post. Do you believe that Barack Obama was born in Kenya? In my best Ilhan Omar voice, I believe "somebody typed something."

I don't have the time or energy to care about everyone who says something awful. I don't know where that line is, but I'll start from POTUS and work my way down.
