I couldn't imagine being addicted to it. All it ever has done, really, is make me really tired and out of it. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's difficult to imagine chasing that all the time.

I smoked occasionally in college and never found anything even remotely addicting about it.

I smoked occasionally in college and never found anything even remotely addicting about it. It's a psychological addiction and not a physical one, like caffeine, tobacco or alcohol are.

It is 'addictive' because they changed the definition of 'addiction.'

Still want to know more about the last few shooters. She must have taken the same logic and reasoning classes as the people featured on History Channel's 'Ancient Aliens.'

I went out drinking for my friend’s birthday party Friday night. Was already pretty drunk and somebody ordered shots of whiskey, and I was starting to feel sick. Another friend had a vape pen with weed. I took one toke and didn’t feel sick the rest of the night.

OK. Great.
But, it's very bad for the developing team age brain.
And, when kids with mental illness, decide to self medicate with it, it can lead to very bad results.

An in-depth study in the late ‘80s suggests to me that marijuana is not addictive.
Of course, it would not surprise me to find out that any mind-altering substance has potentially negative effects on a mind that is already abnormally altered.

I mean, I agree on the teenage brain, but same goes for alcohol. They’re gonna do it, anyway, as I’m sure we all did (one or the other).
For the other thing, do you think that has more to do with the mental illness or the weed? I’d imagine someone with a mental illness shouldn’t be ingesting any intoxicants.
