Follow the money: All of this isn’t cheap. The test costs about $360, and several follow-up consults with IncellDX physicians cost $199 each. Some of the prescribing doctors in IncellDX’s network charge a fee of a few hundred dollars, and some of the medications can cost as much as a few thousand dollars a month. Because the IncellDX team says patients often must continue the drugs for eight to 12 weeks before symptoms improve, the costs can be considerable and, again, unlikely to be covered by insurance since IncellDX’s approach is considered experimental.www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/01/desperate-patients-are-shelling-out-thousands-for-a-long-covid-cure-is-it-for-real/

This whole thing is disgusting. The media rightly calls out the disinformation spread by COVID deniers, and anti-vaxx conspiracy theorists. But, at the same time, they're so invested in COVID hysteria and Long COVID that they promote a scam artist like this doctor, who robs mentally ill people of their money, as revolutionaries. EXCLUSIVE: Lab discovers root cause of confusion, fatigue experienced by COVID 'long haulers'
One of the biggest medical mysteries about COVID-19 has been how some patients develop something called long haulers -- symptoms that include fatigue and confusion that can last for months.
A Bay Area virologist appears to have discovered the root cause, which is leading to better treatment and an end to suffering.abc7news.com/covid-long-hauler-symptoms-term-side-effects-of/10897908/

From Heidi's blog. Her poor husband has to be devastated, but that he isn't furious about the "treatments" that Dr. Patterson provided, and is instead promoting him is very sad. On the Cutting Edge Medical FrontI’m researching getting new health insurance next month (one potential option is a fixed indemnity plan) while I do the Leaky Gut Protocol at home.I’m also following the work of Dr. Bruce Patterson. He’s launched a website (CovidLongHaulers.com) with very specific cytokine blood tests for Long Haulers and I’m interested to see what my results would be. We seem to have elevated cytokines.I can’t personally vouch for these guys yet, but Dr. Patterson is very well respected and seems to genuinely care about curing us. Once they do the bloodwork, they plan to give us tailored suggestions for medications based on individual results and track our Long Haul Covid recovery progress.Could This Cure Us or at Least Help Our Symptoms? It’s too soon to say, but they say they’re having some good results so far. Some people are taking steroids for their inflammation, but I’m not crazy about lowering my immunity right now.I’m so happy that Dr. Fauci said they’re now investing big $$$ to study Long Covid and I truly hope this research helps people with other chronic illnesses like ME/CFS and Lyme.Dr. Patterson is working with Dr. Ram Yogendra, also known as Dr. Yo, who I like a lot as well. They both seem pretty gung ho about Ivermectin. I’m interested to see what Fauci says.I feel a good vibe from these dudes, but time will tell if they’re the saviors of us Long Haulers or not. Is Ivermectin a miracle drug for me? I’m not sure, but I’m hopeful.More will be revealed.Hope is the thing with feathers, fly, baby, fly.Love,~ Heidigirltomom.com/covid-19/how-im-recovering-from-long-haul-covid

Local TV news loves health scams. How many sports journalists wear copper bracelets or take questionable supplements?

I thought Long Covid symptoms were supposed to go away within minutes of receiving an injection.

I thought Long Covid symptoms were supposed to go away within minutes of receiving an injection. Her original COVID symptoms don't... sound like COVID symptoms. In March 2020, before the bus hit my body, I was running around high energy.
I stockpiled canned goods, water and shelf-stable foods for the apocalypse and spent way too much on dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
It was like preparing for an oncoming storm, terrible but a little exciting to feel empowered to protect my family.
Then I felt the first stirring symptoms in mid-April, odd feelings in my feet—a strange coldness—an awful crawling sensation. Somehow I didn’t know, yet I knew.girltomom.com/covid-19/how-im-recovering-from-long-haul-covid

She, never tested positive for COVID. No mention of her ever testing positive for COVID antibodies.
The only "positive" test result she ever received was the one given to her by the Long COVID quack doctor.

This seems to be missing some details.
On Sunday, more than 200 people gathered on Zoom for a memorial after hearing the news that Vitemberg, 57, had died on Sept. 30 from complications of long Covid, according to his husband, Peter Olson.

Update:
The guy dispensing #LongCOVID advice over the phone, that I highlighted on the other thread isn’t just some internet “rando”.
He’s the husband from this story, and there’s a beautiful second chapter here.
He’s found love again, and has already remarried, to a #LongCovid warrior.

This story is incredibly sad. A young husband and father is dead. But it also makes no sense. He suffers from Long COVID for three years, then he has two great weeks, where everything is going well, and then he's dead? So, what killed him. Reading between the lines, I'd say suicide. Brandon Giles Death – Brandon Gilles, an Electrical Engineer who has brainfog from Long-COVID has passed away, his wife Briana Gilles confirmed the news of his passing on social media. Gilles was maintaining a record of his rehabilitation from Long-COVID (myalgic encephalomyelitis). The research was conducted for informational and/or thought-provoking purposes in the minds of appropriately-trained, medically-licensed professionals.
To assist in validating any adjustments to diet, exercise, supplements, medications, or lifestyle with a physician. According to Briana, Brandon , her husband, her children’s father, worked harder than anyone she know would have, or could have to try and save his own life.
Briana said loved ones should know that when he left this physical world he had been in a place of joy for so many months now. He had worked his body back to such a better spot. He was living life and enjoying it again. He got to remember truly who he was. Not sick Brandon, but just… Brandon.
The kids and Briana got to spend two solid weeks with him last month and it was glorious. They filled the days with all the normal Papa things. Skateboarding, playing backyard soccer with their son, reading books and snuggling with their daughter, bubbles, bike rides, wrestles, holding her hand as they walked the beach. It was the best, and all four of them needed that so desperately. His death came a massive shock and it will take a long time to process that he is actually gone.
Briana and the kids will miss him beyond words. And so will many other as well.news.snbc13.com/brandon-gilles-boulder-co-died-after-long-illness-from-long-covid/

Was thinking about him the other day when @deleted posted about fantasy football. Wasn't he a participant? Has anyone heard from him? He's a good guy, who I hope is doing well.
