If the court rules he should testify, will he? lol By Peter Baker and Maggie Haberman Published Nov. 9, 2019 Updated Nov. 10, 2019, 1:19 a.m. ET TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Even in a White House of never-befores, this may be one of the more head-spinning: The president’s chief of staff is trying to join a lawsuit against the president.
Mick Mulvaney works only about 50 steps from the Oval Office as he runs the White House staff but rather than simply obey President Trump’s order to not cooperate with House impeachment investigators, he sent his lawyers to court late Friday night asking a judge whether he should or not.
<snip> Mr. Whipple could not think of any precedent for a chief of staff going to court rather than obey a president’s order. “Given that Mulvaney has been willing to do almost anything for Trump, it’s remarkable that he’s asking for a second opinion,” he said. www.nytimes.com/2019/11/09/us/politics/mulvaney-trump-impeachment-subpoenas.htm

Dems need to stay focused. This will not help getting support. Even if he is racist, stay focused on beating the racist before you start piling on.

LOL. King’s a dope, but this routine where conducted DC journalists present not to know who the whistleblower is is tiresome.

He’s going for the book deal. Bank on it. He will. Following the Bolton model but only better: Why work a 22nd or 23rd year for the military, when you qualified for your military pension after 20, can now sign a book and or movie deal, play the victim, express your partisan hackery and try to affect an upcoming election? Keeping score, that’s a multimillion dollar win-win-win-win-win-win. And he’s got to strike now while he’s still relevant.

If Trump wins... the House will impeach him again in a second term, won’t they? IF Trump wins, and I don’t think he will, and the Dems take the Senate, which I think they will, he’ll be impeached within 60 days of the next inauguration.
