What do you think about the opinion piece? I don't subscribe to the WSJ anymore, so couldn't get through the paywall. Why do you hate when newspapers try to make money?

I don't subscribe to the WSJ anymore, so couldn't get through the paywall. Why do you hate when newspapers try to make money? Right? I waffle back and forth on it, but the WSJ is the one my wife fusses at me about when she looks over my expenses. Doesn't get mad about the NYT or the local paper, but I have usually gotten better rates on those.

Love the WSJ but it is a bit pricey— but given who I assume subscribes lots of price insensitive subscribers. And no discount for online-only subscriptions, unlike the Times (which is truly a steal for a digital subscription given the amount of high-quality content, even if I have my issues with it).

When you lose the Daily Caller... I think that that headline and characterization is quite misleading. The correspondence itself is just lawyers talking, and by "bending over backward," he/she (I can't remember) just means that they made great pains to make sure the other side was aware of exactly what they were getting into, at all turns, and they don't feel like the professionalism and transparency had been reciprocated.

Alright I'm not getting dragged into this shit on the Epstein thread. He is a serial sexual assaulter and you simply do not fucking care. You had some clearly identifiable principles in your politics before the 2016 election. It's exactly what happened to Kavanaugh -- who never met, or was in the same room as his accuser. Oh, Christ. I missed this gem.

I didn't say don't give him any credit; I said there is no scenario where he was going to report on any connection that led back to Trump, no matter what the lawsuit said. He didn't do the hardest part of the actual reporting, but the Times should certainly mention him as having filed the actual lawsuit for sure. So, why didn’t they mention him? It can’t be an oversight. They certainly know who filed the suit. It had to be a conscious decision. I'm not saying you're wrong. Maybe you're right. But reading mainstream media legal stories from a lawyer's standpoint, I'm always surprised at the details that get left out. For example, stories hardly ever name the case, even Supreme Court cases. It's more than possible that they simply don't consider it particularly relevant that Cernovich filed the lawsuit. Even in the big cases, we often end up just getting a profile of the plaintiffs down the road, as a human interest bit.

Maybe this has been covered earlier, but did anyone watch the Acosta press conference yesterday?

Prominent #NeverTrumper spreads baseless rumor.
These are the people who find Trump to be vile, and unworthy of the presidency.
