Yeah, that's not appropriate. To be fair, they were responding to a woman who is accused of getting her TikTok followers to call in bomb threats to schools. A little context is helpful. The trains in Nazi Germany ran on time. If they actually murder someone, I will keep that in mind.

You just told us that we needed to keep in mind the "context" when evaluating a SJ.com poster's suggestion that fire a nail into the base of another human being's skull, so as to ensure that she would be "dead before she hit the floor." Think you might like to rescind that suggestion, given some time to consider it now?

It's never ceased to amaze me how civil and cordial everybody is on the sports threads — or most other threads, for that matter — and the minute they go on the main political thread it becomes Arkham Asylum on a bad acid trip. It's like "Trump" is a CIA-implanted trigger word that turns them all into full-on, foaming at the mouth psychopaths.
Yeah. It's weird. Gee talks to me about the NFL like I forgot he once told me to die in a fire. He only wants politics you to die, not football you. Seems easy enough to understand.

Thanks. Fwiw, I’d be in favor of a new board rule that all discussion here of discussion there must come with identification of the referenced thread. There’ve been several times when I was curious to check out what y’all were referencing … but didn’t have the patience to go fishing for it.

That said, y'all really can't help yourselves, can you? What do you think of your cohorts over there graphically discussing how they would murder a Tik Tok personality? Do you support that? Have you reported it to the moderators? She’s not a TikTok personality! Good gosh. She’s a Twitter personality, who mines TikTok — and other places — for material.

It’s weird.
NBC will get worked up that bomb threats were called in to institutions that she posted about.
But what’s the solution?
We’ve seen members of Congress shit at.
A guy came to D.C. wanting to kill a SCOTUS Justice.
People have been getting “swatted”.
Is there some way NBC would like to regulate how public figures or institutions can be written about?

C'mon, man, it's not like any Democrats in a position of authority would encourage those kinds of things.

They blew off steam on the internet. I'm sorry you don't see the difference. I do have a problem with what they wrote and told them as much, but come on. I get that you have issues with SJ.com, but don't be this guy. You know better.

Or is moving past a Tweet to actually learn something too much for you?
