Sad to see Boom’s friend Ryan Zinke on the run from corruption investigations at every turn. I, personally, expected more from a fellow Montana high school football stud. Montanans might be singing something like this: "He rode in on a stallion, he'll be walkin' out when he goes, Somewhere he lost connections, pocketing that pot of gold; Ran out of time and money, To give to his oil friends, Oh Lord, stuck with ol' Zinke again ..."

I think Tee Martin would do better.

That makes two.
I liked Rep. Heath Shuler (NC-11).

Better prospective Senator, Manning or Brady? Vegetarian voters will hate a guy whose motto used to be "Cut that meat!"

He'll win early but lose the big one.

He'll have a .500 record in primaries but a far superior record in general elections.
His November record has always been spectacular.

I think Tee Martin would do better. Manning will get elected as a senator, then Tee Martin will become president. Also, Todd Helton will run for governor of Colorado and we'll always be reminded that he and Peyton ran in the same year.

If Manning loses, decades of butthurt will follow. Then a scheme will emerge to change how elections work. Depending on the outcomes, some elections will be final, while others will lead to runoffs.

Manning will run against a gross candidate on a rainy election day, and win, but no one will legitimize the victory.
